After a meaningless loss last night, the Braves come back again today to face the Marlins and Jason Vargas. Jorge Sosa is on the hill, and most of the Braves regulars are in the lineup. How long they remain there is another story.
It looks more and more like the Braves will host the Astros in the first round of the division playoffs. And despite the regular season success against Houston, I'd rather be facing San Diego than the Astros. The Clemens, Oswalt, Pettite rotation can really cause problems for the less than stellar Atlanta offense.
Tomorrow's games will paint a more vivid picture of what to expect this first week of the 2005 playoffs.
