And the Information Keeps Flowing...

According to FoxSports.com's Ken Rosenthal (again!) the Braves are scheduled to meet Wednesday with the representatives for Nomar Garciaparra, who is drawing significant interest from nearly a dozen clubs, including the Yankees, Orioles, Blue Jays, Padres, Dodgers and Indians. Garciaparra could play left field for the Braves and serve as a backup at shortstop and third base.

Can you picture Nomar in left field? I can't. But I don't think signing Nomar would be a bad move if he's reasonably inexpensive. He provides veteran leadership and could almost act as a super-sub. My guess is, though, he wants to start somewhere, or at least try.

Whether they actually met or not, we're not sure yet. I'll have analysis of the day's events in just a little bit.
