Open Thread - September 14, Atlanta at Philadelphia

Ok, I'm going with the positive karma tonight. We are going to win this one. We're going to explode off Corey Lidle for 14 hits including a few homers and Ramirez will pitch well enough to get the W. Tonight is when the offenses starts to turn things around. Here's your pitching matchup...

ATL: LHP Horacio Ramirez

  • 11-8, 4.43 ERA in 2005
  • 1-2, 10.54 ERA vs. PHI in 2005
PHI: RHP Cory Lidle
  • 10-10, 4.77 ERA in 2005
  • 1-0, 1.35 ERA vs. ATL in 2005
Notes
-Amazingly, Jeff Francoeur now leads all NL outfielders in assists with 12
-Other than Andruw, no Braves player has more than 20 home runs. Chipper is the closest with 17
-Andruw's next home run will be #50 on the season and #300 for his career
