3 Straight Defeats...Phillies 12, Braves 4

Ok, I was close on the hits right? That was about the only thing that was close. The Braves went over 10 hits for once and even scored 4 runs! Too bad the Phillies scored 12 on 15 hits and made Ramirez, Lerew and everyone else look like batting practice pitchers.

With Florida losing at the moment, the Braves will remain, in all probability, 5 games ahead of both the Marlins and Phillies with 16 games left.

And while we have the impressive Jorge Sosa on the hill tomorrow, it's not going to be any picnic for the Braves hitters facing the Phillies 12 game winner, Brett Myers.

Overshadowed by the loss, Andruw Jones hit his 50th home run tonight and drove in his 125th run. He also scored his 90th and 91st runs.

Tomorrow is a big game for the Braves both mentally and in the standings. They really need to avoid the sweep to keep from falling apart down the stretch.
