The Roller Coaster Ride Continues...

Philadelphia 10, Atlanta 6

Phillies score 7 runs from the 6th inning on. Need I say more?

After Adam LaRoche launched a 3 run shot in the 7th to bring the Braves back from a 6-3 deficit, the bullpen imploded, giving up 4 runs on 3 hits, 2 walks, and a grand slam to Ryan Howard in the 10th inning.

Give the Phillies some credit though. They fought back tonight after giving up the lead. And if you haven't had a chance to watch Ryan Howard yet, you are missing a chance to see one of the league's true future stars. He's the real deal.

I'm not going to harp on tonight's loss. Chalk it up to a bad day. Ya can't win 'em all.

Atlanta's magic number remains at 6 with 10 games left on the schedule. Tomorrow's game is a matinee featuring Jon Lieber against Tim Hudson.

We'll cover some pre-game news and notes in the morning. Until then, good night...
