Saturday Night Recap - Braves 9, Reds 3

We needed a win like this tonight. Sosa struggled a little and looked a bit exhausted out there, but the bullpen finally gave us a big time performance and helped get Jorge his 10th win.

Boyer, Foster, McBride, and Brower combined to go 4 innings, allowing just one hit while striking out two.

Furcal had another nice performance at the top of the order. If it's not apparent to everyone by now, the Braves need Furcal back next year!

Francoeur hit his 12th homer and drove in another three runs tonight. There was a scary moment in the sixth when Jeff got nailed by a pitch on his left foot. Cox took him out of the game as a precaution. Thankfully, the trainers are just saying it's a bad bruise at this point. Whew!

The Phillies lost tonight so our lead is back up to 5 in the NL East.
