Well I didn't get to see much of today's game. I was out at one of those Labor Day weekend barbecues. From what I'm reading though, it sure sounds like it was a good idea I didn't watch the game. Can we go a few games please without the bullpen imploding?
Then again, when you only get 5 hits (and three are from Marcus Giles!) you're not likely to win. Horacio Ramirez had a decent outing (7 1/3 innings, 7 hits 3 homers, 3 walks, 7 Ks) and McBride, Farnsworth, Reitsma, and Foster held their own. But in the 12th though, it seems like Kolb just let it all fall apart.
We can't be too upset though. The Braves did take 2 of 3 and stand 5 games up on the 2nd place Phillies who lost for the second straight day.
