McBride is McBack in the McPen

After a weekend of games, Marcus Giles and Edgar Renteria proved that they were back at full health and there was no need for extra infielder Tony Pena, Jr. He was sent back to AAA-Richmond on Sunday. The Braves activated Macay McBride from the disabled list, bringing the total number of lefties in the bullpen to three. But if you ask me, it won't stay three for long. One more poor start from Jorge Sosa, and I gotta believe that he'll be put in the pen and Chuck James will take over his rotation spot. With McBride coming back, the team can afford to move James from the pen.

McBride's lines from his minor league rehab:

AAA-Richmond: 0.00 ERA, 3 Games, 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 HR, 1 BB, 3 SO, 0.67 WHIP, 1 HLD
AA-Mississippi: 9.64 ERA, 4 Games, 4.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 1 HR, 1 BB, 6 SO, 1.93 WHIP, 0 HLD

Note that all of the runs McBride gave up at AA came in one bad outing.
