Well it's not going to be Will Startup getting the call-up, it's going to be AAA relief pitcher Chad Paronto. He has previous major league experience with Baltimore and Cleveland dating back to 2001. Paronto was off to a great start this year at Richmond, compiling four saves in 12 games, striking out 15 with a 1.02 ERA. He did give up 17 hits in 17.2 innings, but he controlled his base on balls, issuing only three. This bodes well for the pen since walks have been an issue of late. Good luck in Atlanta, Chad.
