I scored some last minute tickets to last nights game so I was in attendance along with barely 15,000 other people. These weekday games are so sparsely attended until school lets out, you can pretty much sit anywhere. If you want to go to a weekday game, remember to use the ticket specials they offer (2-for-1 deals), get the cheapest seat possible, and then just hop seats until you're in the lower level near the dugouts, or in the upper level above home plate. After attending a couple of games this year I can say that not much has changed at the Ted, and my Turner Field Guide should still have current and accurate information.

There are a couple of things I took away from last night's game. First, Tim Hudson was spot-on. He was striking people out left and right, swinging and called - it was enjoyable to watch him have such command. Second, I think the middle of the order is coming around, but Andruw is still giving away an at-bat or two a game - like he's reverting to his form of three or four years ago. And third, I was sitting in the third row of the second rung of the lower deck on the third base side, and Jeff Francoeur's homerun didn't get any higher than my seats. It was a line drive homerun like the kind that Ryan Klesko used to hit when he was in Atlanta.

And with game one under our belt we look towards game two and Chuck James. Can't wait to see Chuckie-J, unfortunately it looks like we'll have to wait since there is a 70% to 80% chance of rain at game time. With that said, I am going to cancel Noc-A-Homa-Win-A-Lotta for today. I just have no confidence that they will get the game in. That said, they probably will, but we'll err on the side of the weather prognosticators and cancel our game in anticipation of the Braves game being canceled. But we'll pick back up on Thursday with a possible double-header to predict.

Noc-A-Homa-Win-A-Lotta canceled due to impending rain-out!!!
