The Braves pulled off a close one last night and got John Smoltz a win in nail-biting fashion. How ridiculous is Rafael Soriano? He was just relentless last night, continuing to go after hitters, throwing one good pitch after another.

The Braves now come back home for two games against the Cubbies. On the mound tonight is Carlos Zambrano, who has been very un-Zambranic this year. I've got to tell you, I'm a little worried about coming away with a win in this series with our 4th and 5th guys pitching. Our offense is going to have to really step up and keep pace with the Cubs offensive attack.
