Holy crap that was close! These safety leads are starting to scare me. I think I'd rather have a one-run lead when Soriano and Wickman come in. All in all it was a good game, but very stressful in the ninth. By the way, the season high 17 hits on Friday included only 4 extra base hits.

John Smoltz will try to justify his contract today with a start in the friendly confines of Coors Field. In looking at his opponent, this might be a tough game. This Jason Hirsh guy has been really good this year - John's going to have to bring his A-game.
