Here are some pictures of Tanyon Sturtze taken last night at the Rome-Braves - Savannah Sand Gnats game from Talking Chop contributor Chip Jett (aka secondbass). Chip said that the five hits Tanyon gave up were all pretty solid hits. This is only Sturtze's third game since coming back off the DL, and the two runs he gave up last night are the first runs he's given up and the first time he's gone more than one inning - if those are positives. It's probably too early to tell if he will be effective this season, and the jury is still out on whether we need another reliever like him.
