I think we all know which Davies showed up last night... just pitiful. Regardless of how Reyes does tonight, Davies needs to be demoted. He was the first Atlanta starting pitcher to leave without recording an out since Tom Glavine left a game in 1989;
here is that box score. Interestingly, that outing by Glavine came on the heels of two straight complete games. Also interesting - and a sign that times have changed - that was Glavine's eighth start in 1989, and to that point he had thrown four complete games. Compare that to this year where no Atlanta pitcher has yet to throw a complete game.
