John Perrotto of Baseball Prospectus runs down his list of still-available free agents, saying this about our former first sacker:
[Adam LaRoche] supposedly turned down a two-year, $17 million offer from the Giants this past week, and maybe it is a sign that he would rather spend the rest of his time hunting deer on his Kansas ranch.
Ouch. Though it does look like teams wanting LaRoche's services are dwindling. Perrotto says it may be down to just the Orioles. Of course, Adam's never been one to rush into anything. This free agent process seems to be following his personality to a tee.
