As sure as the sun sets, the most inevitable move in Major League baseball (history) is about to happen -- The Royals and Dayton Moore are going to sign Jeff Francoeur. Ken Rosenthal reports that the two sides are nearing a one-year deal with a possible club option year. The Royals and Francoeur, made for each other. Kansas City already has five former Braves on its roster, plus former Braves coaches Glenn Hubbard, Chino Cadahia, and Manager Ned Yost.
I really hesitated to put up a story about this, seeing as how we should thoroughly be over Francoeur by now, but I still slow down to gawk at every car wreck I see, so why not this one.
