The Braves open up a six game home stand against the Tampa Bay Rays tonight with Kenshin Kawakami taking the mound opposing former No. 1 overall pick David Price. Kawakami has a 2.90 ERA over his past five starts, all of which saw Kenshin pitch at least six innings. Despite Kenshin's solid performances, the Braves have been unable to score when he is on the mound and have yet to get him that seemingly unattainable first win. Getting runs across won't be any easier tonight with David Price on the mound. Price has thrown 14 innings in two starts this month and has allowed just one earned run. The pitching matchup likely favors the Rays in this game, but nobody wins games on paper.
