The Braves are coming off one of their worst overall performances of the season with Tommy Hanson taking the mound. Opposing Hanson will be the Tampa Bay Ray's rookie starter Wade Davis. Neither Davis nor Hanson has been pitching well as of late. The Rays lineup was out in full force last night as they scored 10 runs. hopefully Tommy can cool them off. If the Braves wish to make it 12 straight series without a loss, they must win tonight and tomorrow's games. With Hanson and Tim Hudson on the mound for the remaining two games, they are in perfect position to do so.
