The Braves are looking to avoid a series loss for the 12th consecutive time tonight as Tim Hudson and James Shields face off in the final game of a three game set. As discussed in the series preview, Shields has pitched much better than his ERA and win-loss record would have you believe. The Braves may need another great pitching performance like they got last night with Tommy Hanson if they want to win this game and series. Chipper is out of the lineup tonight, taking his place will be Brooks Conrad. Conrad will bat second while Jason Heyward will move down to the three spot.
