The Braves took care of the Diamondbacks in a back-and-forth game last night and look to take the lead in the series tonight as Kenshin Kawakami faces off against Ian Kennedy. Kennedy has been one of the luckier pitchers in the National League. His .249 BABIP and 4.24 xFIP predict a regression soon, and hopefully that regression starts tonight against the Braves' bats. Kenshin has had a rough year record wise at 0-8, but has pitched to a 3.60 ERA over his past four starts. Many were hoping Jason Heyward would get the day off due to his thumb injury and recent slump, but he is batting second and playing right field as always. Martin Prado returns to the lineup after his day off and Nate McLouth is starting in centerfield for the first time this series.
