Atlanta Braves Release 2013 Spring Training Schedule

The Braves officially released the Spring Training schedule for their 16th year at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The Spring Training schedule for the 2013 Atlanta Braves was officially released today. They will play 35 games beginning Friday, February 22 against the Detroit Tigers at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. 2013 will be the 16th year for the Braves at the Disney facility.

Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report Monday, February 11 with all other players to report Thursday, February 14.

The Braves will play a total of 18 games at Champion Stadium: three games each against the Tigers and Nationals; two each against the Yankees, Mets, Astros and Marlins; one game each against the Pirates, Phillies, Blue Jays, and Cardinals. Twice the Braves will play split squad games, first on March 8 and again on March 23, and will also have two off days: March 6 and March 19. Their first road game will be February 24 against the Pirates.

Four home night games are on the schedule: March 1 vs. the Nationals at 6:05 p.m., March 7 vs. the Tigers at 6:05 p.m., March 16 vs. the Yankees at 5:05 p.m. and March 21 vs. the Nationals at 6:05 p.m (All times Eastern).

Saturday, March 30, the Atlanta squad will play an exhibition game at Trustmark Park in Pearl, MS against the Braves future stars. Game time is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Central.

Individual game tickets will go on sale Monday, November 26. They will be available at the WWS box office, through the Braves website (braves.com/springtraining) and through Ticketmaster (800-745-3000). 2013 ticket prices range from $9.00 for general admission lawn seats to $44.00 for lower level reserved seats. No ticket information has yet been released for the March 30 exhibition game.
