Open Thread 4/18: Mets vs. Braves

Rain, rain, go away, unless you can somehow make the knuckle ball completely ineffective. In that case, please stick around in a limited fashion, such that you effect the knuckle ball, but don't actually cause a suspension of play. Here is the Braves lineup:

  1. Michael Bourn, CF
  2. Martin Prado, LF
  3. Jason Heyward, RF
  4. Dan Uggla, 2B
  5. Freddie Freeman, 1B
  6. Juan Francisco, 3B
  7. David Ross, C
  8. Tyler Pastornicky, SS
  9. Jair Jurrjens, P

Dan Uggla is 0-for-23 in his career versus Dicky. So either that trend will hold and our cleanup hitter will go O-fer, which begs the question why is he in the lineup, or maybe he's due, and he'll get the key hit. Bourn, however, is 7-for-34 against Dicky.

In rehab news, Tim Hudson will start tonight at Gwinnett. This should be his second to last rehab start before he returns to the Braves rotation. He has already made two starts for the Rome Braves (so jumping from A-ball to AAA will be a huge leap for the youngster).
