Chipper Jones is out for tonight's game due to some swelling in his knee. According to a tweet from DOB , he doesn't need it drained and can play Friday. He's available to pinch-hit tonight. In other lineup news, Justin Upton is out again for the Diamondbacks with a thumb injury.
In the random note category, all five of Arizona's losses this season have come by one run. The last team to lose their first five games in a season by one run was...the 2008 Atlanta Braves. So tonight, expect Arizona to keep it close if the Braves are winning.
Also, Arizona has scored in the first inning in 10 of their first 12 games so far. Minor will try to prevent that from happening again.
