Tim Hudson makes his return to the rotation today and will work in a battery with Brian McCann. McCann had targeted Monday as his return date after straining his intercostal muscle on Friday night, but clearly his recovery has come along more quickly than expected. Chipper is also back in the lineup, today after a night off last night. His knees have really been bothering him recently, so I was honestly surprised to see him on the lineup card for this afternoon's game.
After last night's win, the Pirates are now 9-2 when they score more than just one run. So let's hope that Huddy's sinker is working today.
