The Braves picked up some additional veteran bullpen help in the form or right-handed reliever Chad Durbin. The 34-year old Durbin was released by the Nationals earlier this week. He pitched last year for the Indians, but has also spent time in Philly, Arizona, Detroit, and Kansas City spanning the last 12 years.
The Braves reassigned Yohan Flande to minor league camp to make room for Durbin on the 25-man roster.
Decent pick up, he's probably south of the Linebrink line, but has traditionally been a serviceable reliever. He was with the Phillies during three of their postseason runs from 2008 to 2010, and appeared in all three postseasons and both of their World Series appearances during that time.
