This video and story comes over from the mother-ship, Baseball Nation, and it is powerful. I mean, powerful. It would be appropriate even if there were no Atlanta Braves connection, but there is one. John Schuerholz was the Kansas City General Manager during part of the time when Willie Mays Aikens was on the Kansas City Royals, and likely had to deal with a lot of the fallout from the first part of the story you're about to watch.
Give this story a watch and a listen. Everyone, and especially every athlete, should watch it.
