Atlanta is finally back in the friendly confines of Turner Field, preparing to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three-game series. On the year, Arizona is 37-35 and sits in third place in the National League West. They are five games back of the division leading Dodgers.
Offense:
Offensively, the Diamondbacks are led by Paul Goldschmidt, who is hitting .290/.363/.536 with a .387 wOBA and 140 wRC+. Jason Kubel hasn't been far behind him, as Kubel sports a line of .299/.373/.510 with a .373 wOBA and 131 wRC+.
Aaron Hill is also swinging the bat well, as he enters hitting .291/.357/.496, with a .364 wOBA and 124 wRC+. The same can be said for Miguel Montero and his line of .274/.371/.425 with a .347 wOBA and 113 wRC+.
Gerardo Parra has been a quality bat as well for the Diamondbacks, hitting .268/.343/.437 with a .342 wOBA and 109 wRC+. However, fellow outfielders Justin Upton and Chris Young have been below average at the plate this season.
Upton is hitting .271/.354/.396, while Young is only hitting .220/.313/.397. Ryan Roberts sits .240/.288/.358, while Willie Bloomquist enters at .299/.330/.407.
