Atlanta is finally back in the friendly confines of Turner Field, preparing to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three-game series. On the year, Arizona is 37-35 and sits in third place in the National League West. They are five games back of the division leading Dodgers.
Offensively, the Diamondbacks are led by Paul Goldschmidt, who is hitting .290/.363/.536 with a .387 wOBA and 140 wRC+. Jason Kubel hasn't been far behind him, as Kubel sports a line of .299/.373/.510 with a .373 wOBA and 131 wRC+.
Aaron Hill is also swinging the bat well, as he enters hitting .291/.357/.496, with a .364 wOBA and 124 wRC+. The same can be said for Miguel Montero and his line of .274/.371/.425 with a .347 wOBA and 113 wRC+.
Gerardo Parra has been a quality bat as well for the Diamondbacks, hitting .268/.343/.437 with a .342 wOBA and 109 wRC+. However, fellow outfielders Justin Upton and Chris Young have been below average at the plate this season.
Upton is hitting .271/.354/.396, while Young is only hitting .220/.313/.397. Ryan Roberts sits .240/.288/.358, while Willie Bloomquist enters at .299/.330/.407.
