While Chipper Jones hit well all series, Dan Uggla continued to struggle with the bat.

After a long road trip, Atlanta came home and took two of three from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Some notes from the series:

Tim Hudson was really good in game one of the series. He struck out seven over eight innings while allowing only one run and walking one.

Also really good in game one was the Braves' offense, as it racked up 17 hits. That tied for the most hits in a nine-inning game this season for the team.

Dan Uggla's struggles continued at the plate. He went 0-10 with seven strikeouts.

Jason Heyward saw his 12-game hitting streak come to an end Tuesday, but he still had a productive series. He hit a homer in game two, and nailed Jason Kubel at the plate with a great throw in game three.

Chipper Jones had a nice series at the plate, going 5-9 with a double, home run, and four walks.

Jason Kubel produced some big hits with a homer in game two, and a pair of doubles in game three.

Highly touted rookie Trevor Bauer made his debut on Tuesday, and while he struggled, it was easy to see the quality of his stuff.
