J.R. Graham had a pretty bad start for Mississippi, walking 6 in 4 innings of work while striking out none. He somehow managed to escape with only allowing 3 runs - a pretty good job of damage control. The offense picked him up however, hammering out 10 runs against the Biscuits. Evan Gattis wasted no time getting back in the swing of things, hitting a homer and a triple as part of a 3 RBI evening. He also drew a walk as well. Joey Terdoslavich had a 3 RBI night as well, hitting a single and a triple. Joe Leonard and Keenan Wiley also had two-hit nights as well as part of the M-Braves' hit parade.

Lynchburg couldn't muster much offense tonight outside of Chris Garcia, who was a perfect 3-3 with a walk. Bobby Stevens was 2-4 with 2 doubles out of the 8 spot in the lineup, the only other Hillcat to reach base more than once.

Robby Hefflinger singled, doubled, and walked behind Beckwith. Brandon Drury had another multi-hit game, going 2-4 as Rome's designated hitter. Ross Heffley hit his first home run of the year in the 7th inning, a 3 run shot to put Rome on top. David Starn pitched solidly but unspectacularly, allowing 2 runs across 5 innings. • Carlos Perez, RP: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, 2.29 ERA

Danville dominated Pulaski yesterday behind Kurt Fleming's 3-hit 2-double evening. Casey Kalenkosky chipped in as well with a single and a double as part of a 2-RBI evening. Jose Pereza stole his 6th base with Danville while reaching base twice. Though Pereza's batting average has dropped with Danville, he's still getting on base at a decent .333 clip. Blake Brown had a two RBI single and also drew a walk as well. Brown, despite an ugly .207 average, is still getting on base at a .303 clip - a pretty impressive walk rate. Carlos Perez appeared in relief of Frank Lafreniere and was masterful, striking out the side in both innings of work. In his last 19.2 innings, despite occasional wildness, Perez has struck out 32 men.
