Braves fans were all stunned by the news this morning that the team is moving to a new stadium in Cobb County in 2017. Reactions were, at best, very mixed.
Turner field is located on the rough side of town and Cobb County is literally the baseball capital of the world. Makes sense. #braves #ECB

Moving the @Braves to Cobb adds to the existing heavy congestion. Plus there's no mass transportation. #TurnerField

Cobb County is aaaawwwwful. Horrible traffic, no option to MARTA to games. Getting to a game at rush hour? Forget it. http://t.co/kRbMq4b98s

My feeling about the @Braves coming to Cobb County is similar to how a little girl would feel if Justin Bieber came to their house.

Rooting for the Cobb Braves just isn't the same . . .

Why on earth would the @Braves think moving to Cobb County would be a good idea. Cobb County isn't Atlanta!

Hate to break it to you #braves fans. Cobb parkway isn't much better than where the stadium is now...

So if you sit high enough at the new Braves ballpark in Cobb County, will you be able to see the team's AAA stadium in Gwinnett? #jokes

Personally, as a fan driving up from Middle Georgia, I'm really upset. Turner Field is the only stadium I've watched the Braves in and I have a lot of amazing memories there years of birthday parties there to from meeting up with friends from twitter and such. Now it'll take probably three hours to get to a decent game when it used to take 75 minutes. Plus, what will happen to my brick?!
