Today, ZiPS projections were realeased on FanGraphs.com. Carson Cistulli has a piece breaking down, from a non-Braves fan perspective, his thoughts on the projections.
We had Dan Szymborski on the podcast we recorded last night, who is the founder of the ZiPS projection system. He stated on the podcast how ZiPS is favorable towards Tommy La Stella (104 OPS+), which does give me a bit more confidence in him performing at the major league level next season.
The system is also pretty high on Alex Wood, with a 3.29 ERA in 112 innings between starting and relief pitching.
