  • Edward Salcedo: 7G, .174/.208/.217, BB/5K – Salcedo did not appear in any games this week.
  • Omar Luna: 0-7, 3K – Luna went down for an out in his one pinch hit appearance this week.
  • Joey Terdoslavich: 13G, .304/.365/.522, 5BB/10K – Terdoslavich roped out a couple of hits this past week including a home run Tuesday night. He also maintained his 1:2 BB/K in his 20 plate appearances this week.
  • Jose Constanza: 6G, .190/.227/.190, BB/K – Constanza hasn't played since early in the week where he reached base twice on a walk and a hit.
  • Gustavo Nunez: 7G, .259/.333/.259 – Nunez is a new addition to the Braves organization after being signed to a minor league deal on November 30. The 25-year-old, previously of the Tigers organization, is an all glove no bat SS. Last season in Triple-A he hit .194/.242/.215 in 60 games. He speed and athleticism make him an intriguing piece but the chances are he will never be able to hit enough to stick at the major league level, even with the outstanding glove.
  • Wifrin Obispo: 17.1IP, 9H, 5ER, 6BB, 17K – Obispo made two one inning appearances only surrendering one hit.
  • Ronan Pacheco: IP, H, 0ER, 0BB, 0K – Pacheco did not appear in any games this week.
  • Luis Vasquez: 13.2IP, 3H, 2ER, 3BB, 17K – I'll have a piece up on Vasquez tomorrow.
  • Mitch Atkins: 7.2IP, 6H, 2ER, 0BB, 5K – Atkins got the start Friday for Licey, throwing 4.1 innings giving up two runs on four hits. The 28-year-old has yet to issue a walk in his two appearances.

Venezuelan Winter League

  • Ernesto Mejia: 44G, .253/.384/.452, 30BB/45K – Mejia has a Mejia like week, collecting two doubles and five singles. The righty is now OPS'ing .819 in 40 games for Aguilas del Zuila.
  • Emerson Landoni 1-3, BB – Landoni did not appear in any games this week.
  • Jose Yepez: 20G, .190/.333/.381 8BB/7K – The Braves resigned Yepez back for another year. The 32-year-old will likely fill a role with Gwinnett in 2014.

Mexican Winter League

  • Daniel Castro: 27G, .208/.255/.333, 2BB/10K – Castro played but did not record any plate appearances this week.

  • Ryan Buchter: 13IP, 5H, ER, 8BB, 26K – Buchter did not appear in any games this week. Looking at his twitter account, he appears to be done for the winter.
  • Ryan Hinson: 48.2IP, 41H, 25ER, 24B, 30K – Hinson got lit up Wednesday night, only recording one out. In the process he gave up three hits, three walks and six earned. It has been quite the roller coaster winter league season for Hinson to say the least.
  • Mark Lamm: 3.1IP, 4H, 3ER, 5BB, 3K – Lamm did not appear in any games this week.
  • Andrew Russell: 12.2IP, 8H, 8ER, 6BB, 7K – Russell, who had been playing the the Mexican League is now playing in the Austrialian Winter League. The 29-year-old is an Australian native.

Puerto Rican Winter League
  • Victor Caratini: 0-1, K – Caratini did not appear in any games this week.
  • Bryan De La Rosa: 0-1 – De La Rosa made his debut Friday night, recording an out in his only plate appearance. The catcher was drafted by the Braves in the 3rd round of the 2012 draft out of Boca Raton, Florida. In his age 19 season, De La Rosa put up a .261/.328/.306 triple slash with Danville in 32 games.
