Spring Training Game Thirteen: Atlanta Braves vs. Detroit Tigers

An open thread to discuss the Braves' thirteenth Spring Training game against the Tigers.

The Braves, fresh from their first off day of the spring, head back to the Wide World of Sports to take on the Detroit Tigers tonight at 6:05 PM EST. This will be the fourth time the Braves have played the Tigers this spring, having lost to them 2-1 in their first game of Grapefruit League play.

Julio Teheran will get the start today, his third so far of the spring. In his previous two starts, Teheran threw 5 innings, and only allowed one hit - a solo home run. He's also posted a 7:1 K:BB ratio in his five innings of work.

The Braves lineup today is as follows:

  1. Reed Johnson, DH
  2. Jason Heyward, RF
  3. Justin Upton, LF
  4. Freddie Freeman, 1B
  5. B.J. Upton, CF
  6. Dan Uggla, 2B
  7. Juan Francisco, 3B
  8. Tyler Pastornicky, SS
  9. Gerald Laird, C
Tomorrow, the Braves play two split-squad games, against the Astros and Blue Jays. Kris Medlen will start the home game against Toronto, while Sean Gilmartin will get the nod in the road game against Houston. Both games start at 1:05 PM EST.
