Turner Field celebrates Dragon*Con attendees, Evan Gattis, umpires, and grandparents

Daniel Shirey-US PRESSWIRE

The Braves are honoring several distinct groups of fans with great ticket specials around Labor Day Weekend.

Fans in Atlanta for Dragon*Con can buy tickets for the August 29 game vs. the Indians, with prices ranging from $7-22. Each ticket includes a donation to 2013 Dragon*Con's charities: Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, Georgia Conservancy, and Marcus Autism Center. Game day entertainment will be appropriately themed, and costumed guests are also invited to participate in a pre-game parade around the field. More information can be found here.

The first El Oso Blanco Night is scheduled for the August 30 game vs. the Marlins. For $32, fans get an outfield, or "bear cave," ticket, exclusive Gattis shirt, and foam bear claw. A second night will be held September 13. To purchase tickets, visit here.

Prior to the September 1 game vs. the Marlins, MLB umpires will conduct an umpire's technical clinic. Both aspiring umpires and interested fans are welcome to participate, and attendees will take part in a pre-game presentation for the most simultaneous strike calls at Turner Field. Each attendee will receive a certificate of participation and can walk in a pre-game parade. Tickets range from $20-30 and may be purchased here.

Additionally on September 1, country group BIg & Rich will give a post-game concert. Admission to the concert is included with a game ticket, and infield pit tickets can be purchased for an additional $25. For a VIP pass which includes a meet & greet session with the duo, more information can be found here.

To conclude the holiday weekend, Turner Field is hosting its first Grandparents Day on Labor Day. Tickets for the 1:00 p.m. start against the Mets on September 2 include a covered seat, Turner Field Museum access, and participation in the post-game Grandparents and Kids Stroll the Bases. Tickets are either $20 or $28 and can be purchased here.
