Pretty crappy game last night for Gwinnett, as they lost 2-1 in 11 innings. Kameron Loe's smoke and mirror routine as a starter rolls right along, as he allowed 1 run through 7.1 innings despite only 2 strikeouts. Gwinnett's offense was virtually nonexistent, as Ernesto Mejia drove in the lone run of the day with an RBI single. Jose Constanza and Alden Carrithers were the only 2 G-Braves to reach more than once in this contest.

The M-Braves rode Aaron Northcraft's arm and Greg Golson's bat to a 6-2 win over Huntsville last night. Northcraft only lasted 5.1 but was masterful, striking out 7 while allowing only 3 walks and 3 hits. The bullpen was just as dominant, as Shae Simmons as James Hoyt combined to throw 3 1-hit frames with 4 punchouts. Golson led off and paced the offense, smacking two doubles, drawing a walk, and stealing a base. Tommy La Stella was up to his old tricks as well, doubling and walking twice in 4 plate appearances.

Lynchburg continued their hot streak last night, knocking off the Keys 4-2. Jarrett Millet was pretty hittable, but still held the Keys to 2 runs across 5.1 innings of work. Trenton Moses paced the offense with a pair of doubles and a walk, while Matt Weaver reached twice and stole a base out of the leadoff spot. Kyle Kubitza notched a pair of RBI singles as well, including the game winner.

Danville only managed four hits yesterday against the Cardinals Rookie-ball affiliate Johnson City. Victor Caratini drove in the only D-Braves run with an RBI double scoring Cody Livesay. Livesay has been creating havoc at the top of Danville's order since his promotion from the GCL. In four games, he's gone 6-13 with 5 walks. Jean Carlos Gil was too hittable today but was let down by his defense, leading to several unearned runs. He did post an impressive 6/1 K/ BB ratio, however. Tyler Vail, a young right-hander out of the bullpen, was recently promoted from the GCL as well. He made his Danville debut today and it was excellent. Vail hurled 2.2 innings of 1-hit ball, striking out 5 of the 9 men he faced while not walking a soul.
