Freddy Garcia is back with the Braves

37-year-old righty inks minor league deal with spring training invite

According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, veteran pitcher Freddy Garcia has signed a minor league deal with the Braves. The deal includes an invitation to spring training, per Mark Bowman.

The 37-year-old righty joined the Braves late last season and plugged in a hole in the starting rotation. The signing adds some depth for the Braves' young starters going into the 2014 season, but hopefully Garcia will continue to "just make pitch" in Gwinnett.
