Time-lapse video of Braves preparing to build SunTrust Park released

Dirt and trees were harmed in the making of this neat video.

It has been a full year since the Braves announced their intentions to move from Atlanta to Cobb County. It was a shock then, and it's still pretty weird to think the Braves will have played their final game at Turner Field this time in two years.

The club released a time lapse video showing what's happened at the future home of the Braves. While the construction has primarily consisted of clearing trees from the build site, it's still pretty cool to see nonetheless.

We should have a much better sense of the ballpark and the surrounding restaurants, shops and whatever the hell else they decide to build by this time next year. It's also likely we get more in-depth stadium renderings by the architects designing the place within the next few months, which will (hopefully) be exciting.
