Hank Aaron Underwent Partial Hip Replacement

The Braves legend should be back to normal in 6-8 weeks after a fall on the ice.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Braves Senior Vice President and legend Hank Aaron underwent a successful partial left hip replacement surgery last night, the Braves announced this morning.

Eighty-year-old Aaron slipped on ice, presumably earlier in the week in Georgia's inclement weather. He's expected to make a full recovery and should be back to his normal routine in 6-8 weeks.

Aaron normally makes an appearance or two at spring training, but understandably may not given his condition. Best of luck for Hank's full recovery!
