Everyone, I would like you to join me in welcoming Ian Morris to our prospect team. As Ian mentions below, he comments on the site frequently via the TennesseeQuackAttack8 tag. Daniel Simpson, who is assuming the role of prospect lead, and I decided that Ian was a great fit for the site and would fit in perfectly with what we like to offer our readers on the minor league side of things.
Below is a brief bio from Ian. Welcome to the team!
--------------------------------------
Hello, Talking Chop! I'm Ian Morris, but most of you probably recognize me as TennesseeQuackAttack8. I've been a member here for four years now, and I'm looking forward to begin contributing as a writer.
As for a quick bio about myself, I was born in Atlanta and have been a Braves fan since I was very young, despite unfortunate events such as the Infield Fly debacle, Chris Burke's grand slam in 2005, and most Jeff Francoeur plate appearances. I've spent most of my life one state north in Tennessee, and I'm currently a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I've been enamored with the game of baseball since my days as a kid playing tee-ball, and enjoy nothing more than a summer evening spent watching a game of baseball. Yes, even sabermetrically-inclined baseball fans have an appreciation for such sublime pleasures.
If you're so inclined, you can find me on twitter @vamosbravos. Again, I look forward to joining the TC team and bringing you coverage regarding the future starts in Atlanta and Braves baseball in general. I hope you're all as excited for some baseball as I am.
