Despite the absolutely unfortunate incident that was Gavin Floyd's elbow injury, there was a big positive last night's affair, and that was that the Braves continued their current run of positive results against the Washington Nationals with another victory in their building.
Now, the Braves will be looking to keep the good times rolling into the weekend phase of this 4-game series. After dispatching of Jordan Zimmerman, who has been pitching at an ace level as of late, the Braves will now have to contend with Stephen Strasburg, the actual ace of the Nationals' lineup. Meanwhile, Atlanta will be starting Mike Minor who is hoping to have a better time than he did in his last two starts.
Justin Upton is once again on the bench, so there's a bench player in left again and this time it's Jordan Schafer. Washington's lineup is unchanged.
