Both Uptons homer; Harang, Braves beat Astros 3-2

The good news: B.J. Upton contributed to a win out of the leadoff spot.

The bad news: That means he'll likely be hitting leadoff for a while.

The Upton brothers each hit home runs to help Aaron Harang and the Braves top the Astros 3-2.

George Springer started the game off with a bang, hammering a 441-ft. homer over Tal's Hill in the first inning. Atlanta answered in the second with a one-out triple by Jason Heyward, who later scored on a double by Chris Johnson.

B.J. Upton was hitting leadoff for the first time this year, and we all bemoaned Fredi's decision before the game, but he did something good for a change when he homered into the Crawford boxes to give the Braves the lead in the third inning.

That home run, however, was a mere pop-up compared to the bomb his brother Justin hit in the fourth for Atlanta's third run of the game.

Jonathan Villar singled home Houston's second run in bottom of the fourth after a single and a walk, but that's all the Astros could muster against Harang and three Braves relievers. The Astros left 10 on base, six of them in scoring position.

Chris Johnson had two hits to extend his hitting streak to nine games. This was the fourth time both B.J. and Justin homered in the same game, tying a major-league record.
