The Atlanta Braves made a roster move on Wednesday formally announcing the signing of Dian Toscano to a four-year deal.

The deal had been previously agreed to but had yet to be announced by the club. To make room for Toscano on the 40-man roster, the Braves designated outfielder Jose Constanza for assignment.

Constanza appeared in 112 games for the Braves over the last four seasons. He compiled a .273 average and an on base percentage of .316 in 240 plate appearances.
Toscano will likely begin the season in the minors but could eventually find his way to Atlanta and into the Braves outfield at some point during the 2015 season.
