The rumors have been swirling for a day-and-a-half, and now it appears that rumors have turned into reality, as MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez is reporting that the Braves have traded shortstop Andrelton Simmons to the Los Angeles Angels.

There are no details yet on the return, so make sure to stay tuned here for more updates as they come in. Either way, it appears that Andrelton's days as a Brave have come to an end, and it's going to be really interesting to see what the return is here.
UPDATE (6:48 PM EST) -- According to Joel Sherman, here's the full deal:
#Braves trade Simmons to #Angels for Newcomb, Ellis, Aybar and about $3M

The Braves will be receiving pitching prospects Sean Newcomb and Chris Ellis in the deal. Also, they'll be receiving Erick Aybar, because someone's got to play shortstop around here, right? Anyways, both Newcomb and Ellis are two of the Angels' top pitching prospects, so this is definitely a solid return for Andrelton Simmons.
Still, it's definitely understandable to miss the amazing defensive talent that Simmons brought to the Braves. We're all going to miss Simmons, and now it's time to hope that this trade pans out for our Braves.
UPDATE (7:19 PM EST) -- According to Yahoo!'s Tim Brown, the Braves have also thrown catching prospect Jose Briceno into the deal as well.
Appears catching prospect coming to Angels is Jose Briceno.
