It's a busy time if you follow the Braves trade rumor mill.
Earlier this week, the Braves were linked to a potential deal with the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks were interested in acquiring Shelby Miller from the Braves, but when the Braves responded with an offer that started with AJ Pollock, the deal went nowhere.
However, that apparently has not stopped other teams from checking in on Shelby's availability.
Since Shelby Miller's name first emerged in the trade market, the Giants and Dodgers have checked in on his availability.

Ultimately, this does feel like the Braves doing their due diligence. When the Diamondbacks asked about Miller, the Braves asked for a 6+ WAR player (in 2015) back, so it's clear that while Shelby does have a price, he won't come cheap. With that said, it is interesting that despite the speculation of the high price on Shelby that the Giants and Dodgers would not necessarily be scared off by the price tag.
Of course, as with all offseason stories, this situation is very fluid but there does not appear to be a deal remotely close or even other names being discussed. We will keep you posted as this story develops.
