Game Thread 4/12: Braves vs. Mets

The Braves have gotten off to an extremely surprising 5-0 start. Can they make it six against Bartolo Colon and the Mets?

The Braves have recorded two consecutive 5-3 victories over the Mets, and five consecutive victories overall. Again, there's no telling when or if this ride that the Braves currently have us on in the first week of this long season will end, so I highly suggest that you guys just sit back and enjoy the ride.

It'll be easier to enjoy yourselves when you have a guy like Alex Wood making the start for the Braves as well. Wood will be taking the mound today in an effort to keep pace with Julio Teheran, who already has two solid starts under his belt to kick off 2015. Meanwhile, we'll also be getting our first look at The Round Mound of the Mound himself, Bartolo Colon. The crafty vet still has plenty left in his rather large tank, so today's pitching matchup should be a very good one.

Here are the lineups:

Today's Lineups
