The consensus was beginning to build that the Braves were going to be sellers in the very near future with rumors buzzing about AJ Pierzynski, Jonny Gomes, Cameron Maybin, Jim Johnson, and others possibly going to new teams.

This could be a precursor of Jim Johnson being expected to be traded to another team or to shore up the bullpen's depth in the wake of Jason Grilli's injury.
Frasor had a 1.54 ERA with the #Royals before getting released, though he had allowed 39 baserunners in 23 1/3 innings.
