Game Thread 7/21: Braves vs. Dodgers

Can the Braves win two in a row? Let's find out.

The Atlanta Braves snapped out of a funk with a 7-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday evening, and the home team will look for two straight wins on Tuesday.

In the second game of a three-game series, the Braves will send left-hander Alex Wood to the mound, and the Dodgers will deploy Brett Anderson. It has been an up-and-down season for Wood, who has posted a 3.76 ERA across 18 starts, and he was battered for seven earned runs in his final outing before the All-Star break against the Colorado Rockies.

With Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke on the shelf for this series, the Braves have a real opportunity to snatch some victories against Los Angeles, and they'll look to do so on Tuesday. Stay with us throughout the evening.
