The Braves are hot and baseball is fun again. Okay, Atlanta has only won one game "in a row", but every little bit helps, and that victory aids in setting the stage for what is a jam-packed MLB slate on Tuesday.
SB Nation and FanDuel continue to partner on daily fantasy baseball, and we regularly bring you "recommended" lineups. Today, we will break out a winning (we hope) group for the evening slate, and hopefully, things will go well.
As usual, fading my picks may be your best option, so if you do that, I won't be offended in the slightest.
Note: This lineup would be used in a 7:05 pm ET contest.
P - Brett Anderson ($7,700)
C - Nick Hundley ($3,200)
1B - Prince Fielder ($4,400)
2B - D.J. LeMahieu ($3,100)
3B - Kyle Seager ($2,800)
SS - Troy Tulowitzki ($4,400)
OF - Mitch Moreland ($4,200)
OF - Seth Smith ($2,300)
OF - Chris Young ($2,900)
Stacks! I'm all-in on the Rangers and Rockies this evening in a dream Coors Field match-up between Kyle Kendrick and Matt Harrison. Five members of my lineup, headlined by Fielder, Moreland and Tulowitzki are from that particular game in favorable platoon face-offs, and I'm expecting fireworks.
Elsewhere, I'm going relatively cheap with Brett Anderson at Turner Field (sorry, Braves fans), and he has been quite good this season. Finish things off with some cheap platoon guys in Seager/Smith against a righty in Shane Greene and Young against a Wei-Yin Chen (who gets battered by right-handed batters) and I'm feeling good.
The slogan, as always, is to simply make money, and this lineup can (hopefully) help you get there. Let's do this together.
