Baseball has been played for 130 years or so. In that time, few men to ever put on a uniform were better at their craft than Pedro Martinez and Chipper Jones.
This weekend, Martinez was inducted to the Hall of Fame after a phenomenal career. Chipper will be joining Pedro in the Hall in a couple years. Here's an awesome story involving the two greats:
First time I ever met Pedro in a clubhouse he was wearing a fluorescent yellow shirt and singing a song he made up about Chipper Jones.

It was season Chipper was flirting with .400. Pedro told me if it was last wk of season and CJ was close he'd absolutely toss him meatballs

Pedro loved Chipper Jones so much. Was in awe of how good he was for so long and how tough he was to face.

Chipper flirted with the .400 average in 2008 for months before eventually tailing off in mid-August. He ended the year hitting .364/.470/.574. He was 36 years old.
