Game Thread 7/31: Braves vs. Phillies

Friday night brings another opportunity for the Braves to snap a losing streak.

Thursday's series opener didn't go according to plan for the Atlanta Braves, but Friday presents another opportunity to right the ship. The Braves have lost four consecutive games, and despair is beginning to set in. Alas, Williams Perez is on the case.

Perez replaces the newly-departed Alex Wood in the rotation, and Friday marks his return to the majors. He will square off against David Buchanan, and that could be a potential advantage for the road team.

As always, let's try to get this victory together. Stay tuned throughout the evening.
